Full Specifications

Tool Storage & Capacity

  • Stores tools and automatically feeds the required tool to the spindle on demand
  • Available in configurations from 8 tools up to 50 tools, depending on client requirements
  • The spindle goes to the tool changer and/or the tool changer goes to the spindle to realize the automatic change
  • Available as moving or stationary tool changers to suit different machine configurations

Moving Tool Changers

  • Moving tool changers are almost a necessity in some of our machines that are up to 6m long
  • Designed to travel with the spindle, avoiding a 6m traverse that would otherwise be time-wasting
  • Essential for bench-top edging processes where up to 6 tools are changed to form and polish the edge
  • Automatic tool change takes less than 5 seconds compared to minutes for a manual change

Precision & Efficiency

  • Manual tool changing makes edge forming and polishing economically not viable
  • Enables the target of producing a perfectly cut, edged and polished bench top in 40 minutes
  • Manual tool changing also reduces the accuracy of the cutting and polishing processes
  • Automatic changing ensures repeatable precision with every tool swap

Compatibility

  • Each tool changer can be seamlessly connected to any Simplex CNC machine
  • A range of tool changers available to match different machine types and production needs
  • Makes your investment in a Simplex machine a much better investment
  • Designed and manufactured in Australia alongside all Simplex machines
